GML File format/protocol documenation

The GML file format/protocol was a vector graphics format used by some Nicolet/Brunning Zeta pen plotters (also sold under other names). It is similar in purpose to HP's HPGL, Houston Instruments DM/PL, and Calcomp's own language.

I have posted scans of GML programming documentation provided to me by George Arndt. It is posted here without permission on the grounds that the copyright owner is defunct. So, if anyone who still has need of GML wants to write a GML2HPGL to let you use older software with newer plotters or HPGL2GML (start with hpgl2xx, to use newer software with older plotters) utility, the information you need is here. Also, if someone wants to type in this documentation (gocr did not do an acceptable job of OCRing it), that would be helpful in preserving this information before it is lost forever (the web archive will archive HTML documents but not images). Retaining documentation of old file formats (and open source filters) can be important for historical purposes. Far too much computer information is unreadable 10 years or less after it was created.
