I have zero tolerance for SPAM, UCE, or UBE and charge people who send me spam hefty fees. I also boycott the products or services advertised.
While, in theory, I do not have a problem with very carefully targetted email, I have received so much that was untargetted that I will react violently to any unsolicited bulk email received. Period. And while I can often tell when an email is untargetted, how am I supposed to tell if the message was broadcast indescriminately if I just happen to be in the target audience?
If you wish to send me a individually written (form letters do not count) message of a commercial nature, you may do so but you must make sure it does not look like a bulk email (including those that attempt to look like personalized mail).
In the future, this page will probably contain considerably more information about UBE. Right now it is partly a placeholder.
I have written a page on SPAM Reporting
