           June 28, 1724).  Amos was bapt.  Dec 17, 1727 at church Salem
           Villiage now North Parish Danveu [Sp? -mrw]   (Amos is my
           gr. gr. grandfather)

5.  Amos (my gr. grandfather) do not know date of birth.
    

6.  Amos (my grandfather) born Feb 3, 1798.  Washington, Bt.  died 1829
     Married Sarah M. Merrill Sept 12, 1818        d. Jan 18,1889  Aged 87

   N. H.  Sept 12, 1818
In the "History of Warren" by Wm.  Little (a lawyer/
of Concord is this paragraph, in regard to a store
in Warren Sold by Michael Preston to Amos Burton.
"The Latter, having high ideas of living, changed the 
Benj. Merril store into a dwelling house and built
another store directly opposite -"
This dwelling house was my grandmothers home as a 
bride.  Amos, her husband was _first_ postmaster of Warren,
was between 21 + 25 yrs of age + about that time 
married Sarah M. Merrill (born in Warren)..  He died at
31 years having moved to Portsmouth N.H. for a while.I believe he is buried in Warren.
