Rogan Genealogy Page

This page is one of a number of my pages devoted to specific surnames. For information on other surnames, my family, source documents, etc, visit Mark Rogan Whitis's Genalogy Home Page.

I have received a lot of correspondence about the Rogan clan but I haven't made a Rogan page yet. Rogan is my middle name. Traced back 6 generations to Daniel Rogan (8/25/1771-1842) who immigrated to Frederic, Maryland from Dublin Ireland, arriving on the day of his 20th birthday. Many Rogan's in this country are descendants of Daniel Rogan but some are descendents of other Rogans who immigrated from Ireland separately.

I have a number of source documents scanned in and transcribed into searchable ASCII text but they are not posted here yet. I have been contacted by several other rogans.
