I have received a number of email messages about the Elyea line because of entries for elyea's which exist in my genealogical web pages so I have created this page devoted to the Elyea surname. Visit the other pages for my family tree.

Please note that all my information on this clan came from the individuals mentioned below so if you have questions, they are best directed to them (but cc: me). If you have information which would extend any of my direct ancestral lines or supply information about my direct ancestors or their siblings, I would be interested in hearing about it.

The last four were added based on information supplied by Jean Pitts. Alvin has questioned the the last entry, observing that he found a Nicholas who had a son Jan but he noted an age/date descrepancy with the exist Jan Aliie in his tree.

Tracing began in Warrick, NY, to Indiana to Michigan.

Traced from NJ to Ohio Early in 1800, later to Indian.
